SwimKeenies combines original art with 5-10 bikinis made in each size. Each made-to-order, reversible bikini is individual and designed for wear beyond the beach. Our recycling program transforms old bikinis into a new art piece, setting us apart from fast fashion.
How does the SwimKeenies pre-order system work?
Choose your favorite design and place a pre-order with a 50% deposit. Your bikini is handcrafted in Brazil, taking 8-12 weeks. When it arrives from our manufacturer, we will email you at katherine@swimkeenies.com to pay the remaining 50% balance, and we will ship your order for free once payment is confirmed within 7 days.
Why a deposit?
The 50% deposit secures your exclusive bikini while keeping our production sustainable by eliminating overstock. The balance is billed only when your order is ready to ship, ensuring a transparent, eco-friendly process.
Where are SwimKeenies bikinis made?
Our bikinis are ethically crafted in Brazil, the heart of bikini craftsmanship, in a certified vegan, eco-friendly facility with fair wages and sustainable practices.
Can I return my old SwimKeenie for recycling?
Yes. Our circular fashion program lets you return your worn bikini to katherine@swimkeenies.com for recycling or upcycling into unique abstract art, extending its life and reducing waste.

Keenie Queens are members who purchase from our limited-edition collections, unlocking exclusive rewards, early access to new designs, the ability to vote on artwork, and priority invites to events. Your first bikini purchase makes you a member.
What is the refund policy for pre-orders?
Deposits are refundable within 7 days of placing your pre-order. If production delays exceed 12 weeks, we offer a full refund or the option to switch to another design choice but at all times you will be informed of progress. Once the balance is billed, payment is required within 7 days to confirm free shipping, or the order may be canceled with the deposit refunded minus a small processing fee.
How will I know when my bikini is ready to ship?
We will keep you updated! After your pre-order, you will receive a confirmation email. When your bikini arrives from our manufacturer (within 2-3 months), we will email you at katherine@swimkeenies.com to pay the remaining 50% balance and confirm free shipping with tracking details.
Can I change or cancel my pre-order?
You can change or cancel your pre-order within 7 days for a full deposit refund. After this period, changes depend on production status, email us at katherine@swimkeenies.com to discuss options.
What happens if I don’t pay the balance when billed?
When your bikini is ready, we will notify you to pay the remaining 50% within 7 days to confirm free shipping. If unpaid, your order may be canceled, with your deposit refunded minus a small processing fee. We will send reminders to ensure you don’t miss out!
Is shipping free for SwimKeenies orders?
Yes. Shipping is free worldwide for all pre-ordered SwimKeenies bikinis, ensuring your wearable art arrives at no extra cost once the balance is paid. Country specific tariffs are determined a moving consideration.
